Useful, and timely, information on battery disposal
If you have ever questioned... How should I dispose of Lithium Ion batteries?
... the following useful, and timely, information from our US suppliers email support will answer your query... (and I quote)...
"Lithium ion batteries, like all rechargeable batteries are recyclable and should be recycled. They should never be incinerated since they might explode. Most places that sell rechargeable batteries will also accept them back for recycling."
Just by following these simple rules you are adding another string to your recycling bow... and helping the environment.

What is the difference between Lithium batteries and Lithium Ion batteries?

"There are several important differences. The practical difference between Lithium batteries and Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries is that most Lithium batteries are not rechargeable but Li-ion batteries are rechargeable.
From a chemical standpoint Lithium batteries use lithium in its pure metallic form. Li-ion batteries use lithium compounds which are much more stable than the elemental lithium used in lithium batteries.
A lithium battery should never be recharged while lithium-ion batteries are designed to be recharged hundreds of times."

Stock up NOW for Christmas!
I don't really want to be the one to mention that Christmas is fast approaching!
But, batteries and chargers are one of the things which are regularly forgotten in the rush - and this causes great disappointment, as items cannot be used until these vital supplies are obtained.
